ANDREW LEIBENGUTH/TIMES NEWS Students and staff at the Tamaqua Middle School were evacuated outside yesterday afternoon after the fire alarm was set off. Schuylkill communications said the signal came from a pull box inside the school. Firefighters on scene stated it appeared to be a malfunction. After about 30 minutes, everyone was sent back in the school. Responding were firefighters from Tamaqua and Walker Township. The parking lot of the Tamaqua Middle School was filled with fire trucks.
