Wellness Fair held in Weatherly

Weatherly students and residents attended the Weatherly Wellness Fair at the Weatherly Middle School gym to talk with representatives from : American Cancer Society; Penn State Cooperative Extension; PA Department of Health; Area Health Education Center; St. Luke's Sports and Rehab; Gnaden Huetten Hospital; Care Net of Carbon; Victims Resource; Greater Hazleton Health Alliance; American Red Cross; American Lung Association; Epilepsy Foundation; Domestic Violence Center; River Run Healing Arts; Autism Speaks; OAAA; Geisinger Health Systems; Hickory Run State Park Hunters Club; Lutheran Homecare and Hospice; Mountain Valley Martial Arts; Iron House Gym; SHINE program/LCCC; Life Expressions Chiropractic; Bayada Nurses; Highway Safety Program; CMP Drug and Alcohol Commission; Serento Gardens; Citizens Fire Company; Carbon County 911; and Weatherly Police.

There were also food and beverage samples; fitness and nutrition games; a car seat and booster seat demonstration; and everyone got to meet some friendly costume characters.
