Oak Loop Trail Hike planned for April 25

Join Naturalist Robin Tracey on the Oak Loop Trail at Locust Lake on Thursday, April 25. The trail is four miles in length and difficult. The trail loops around Locust Creek and traverses up the mountain for a really great view of the forest below. Part of the hike includes the "Tree Identification Trail" created by Eagle Scouts. Dogs are welcome, but must be leashed and get along with other pets and people. Hikers should meet at the visitor parking lot at 9:30 a.m. Hikers should bring water, bug spray and comfortable shoes. Contact Tracey at (570) 467-2506 for more information. Shine only.
