Arrests reported

State police at Lehighton reported on the following arrests made by troopers.

John J. Waslew, 49, of Albrightsville, Penn Forest Township, Carbon County, has been charged with a dog law violation.Troopers said two dogs owned by Waslew fled his residence and allegedly attacked an eight-year-old female causing her a minor injury. The incident occurred about 6 p.m. on Sunday, April 14, troopers said.Troopers said about 1:55 p.m. on April 11 Nicholas Joseph Martinelli, 21, of Polk Township, Monroe County, was stopped for a traffic violation along SR209 at the intersection with Hideaway Hills Road, in Polk Township. At the stop troopers said they found Martinelli in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Charges will be filed, troopers said.On Friday, April 12, about 11:20 p.m. troopers were dispatched to a domestic type incident at 219 Emerson Rd., in Ross Township, Monroe County. On scene troopers determined that a 53-year-old female at that address had been harassed. Cited for harassment was Ryan Francis Keller, 23, of Monroe County, troopers said.Two male juveniles were cited for disorderly conduct following an incident that occurred at a bus lane in front of the Palmerton Area High School in Lower Towamensing Township, Carbon County, about 2:30 p.m. on April 11. The two were cited for engaging in a fight with each other.Michelle B. Stine, 24, of Buskhill, was cited for retail theft for an incident on April 12 about 7:40 p.m. at Kinsley Shop Rite in Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County. She is charged with removing $74.50 worth of merchandise from the store without paying for it.
