State police at Schuylkill Haven are investigating the theft of copper tubing from a Schuylkill County property.

Troopers said the incident occurred at the property of William Scheibley, 72, of 111 W. Laurel St., in Tremont. Unknown criminals used an unknown type object to cut the latch off a garage door located on the south side of the property. They then entered the garage and stole about 150 pounds of copper tubing.The incident occurred sometime between 10:30 p.m. on Friday, April 12, and 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. Anyone with information concerning this incident is asked to call troopers at (570) 739-1330.
