Blue Mountain Health System will host a "New To Medicare" session at 1:30 p.m. April 23 in the Community Room of its Gnaden Huetten Campus at 211 N. 12th St., Lehighton.

The session is to help people entering Medicare for the first time, and their caregivers, to understand this comprehensive healthcare program.Topics will include a general introduction to Medicare (Medicare Parts A-D), Medicare supplemental insurance (Medi-Gap policies), Medicare Advantage plans and Medicare Prescription Drug Plans (Part D).The session is co-sponsored with Carbon County Area Agency on Aging.
