Pa. liquor stores funds may be used to fix roads and bridges

Rep. Jerry Knowles (R-Berks/Schuylkill) will join fellow legislators and other advocates at noon Monday, April 15, at the State Capital Media Center, East Wing, Harrisburg, to announce legislation that would use the money from the privatization of Pennsylvania's liquor store system to fix our state's roads and bridges.

Knowles is expected to be joined by the following speakers: Republican House Majority Whip Stan Saylor (R-York), Sen. Dave Argall (R-29), Rep. Daryl Metcalfe (R-Butler), Matthew Brouillette, president and CEO of the Commonwealth Foundation, Rep. Brad Roae (R-Crawford), Rep. Will Tallman (R-Adams/York), Rep. Doyle Heffley (R-Carbon) and Rep. Tarah Toohil (R-Luzerne).
