Woman's Club plans Spring Tea

Woman's Club of Lehighton will hold its annual "Spring Tea" at 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 1 at Luther Hall at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 175 S. Third St., Lehighton. Guests for the evening will include the Woman's Club of Nesquehoning. Women in the community are invited to attend to meet others, enjoy entertainment, refreshments and visit neighbors.The program will include a performance by members of Lehighton's TNT Studio of Dance. Also, a presentation will be made of a Student Art Award to a deserving recipient from Lehighton Area High School.Call Nancy R. There is no charge for the evening.Coming events at BethanyBethany Evangelical Congregation Church, North Street and Center Alley, Lehighton, will offer the video John Hagee series "The Coming: Four Blood Moons." Dates are: Sunday, April 21; Wednesday, May 1; and Sunday, May 5; all shown at 7 p.m.On Sunday, April 28 at 7 p.m., illusionist John Louis will present On the Edge of Illusion Love is No Illusion. Everyone, the young and the young at heart are welcome for a night of thrills, laughter and blessings.
