A clothing and fund drive has begun for a Lehighton family left homeless in a fire last evening.

The blaze destroyed the home of Derek Flexer, his wife Bobbi Jo, and their daughter, Payton, who will soon be 6 months old.The drive was started at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church of Mahoning Township, where the Flexers are members.The family also has two dogs.A member of the church said the family has no clothing or baby supplies.Anyone who could help with either a financial gift or clothing or baby supplies should contact the church at (570) 386-9960.They also can contact Lisa Moyer or Wendy Guzenski on Facebook.The family is presently residing with relatives.
