The Allentown enforcement office of the state liquor control board conducted age compliance checks on March 28 in Schuylkill County, between the hours of 4 p.m. and midnight.

A total of seven checks were conducted at licensed establishments with one found in non-compliance. Non-compliance means the establishment served alcohol to underage individuals trained and supervised by liquor enforcement officers.Estabishments that were in compliance, meaning they did not serve alcohol to the supervised minors, were Country Squire Restaurant & Motel, D&D Grille & Bar, and Bellisima Italian Bistro Inc., all of Schuylkill Haven; Denny's Hot Rod Bar & Grill Inc., Cressona; Amatera Enterprises Inc., and Deutsche Haus Inc., both of Orwigsburg; and Boran's Port Clinton Hotel, Port Clinton.
