The North Central PA Regional DUI Enforcement Program has released the results of a Roving DUI Patrol held March 30 in Schuylkill County.

Three officers representing three local law enforcement agencies conducted a roving patrol, contacting and detaining a total of 35 vehicles. One operator was tested for possible intoxication. Officers also issued 12 traffic and two seat belt citations, made one criminal arrest and issued 24 warnings.Additional checkpoints will be conducted through April 15 on state routes 61, 183, 901, 209, 1006, 309, 443, 895, 125,25, 924, and 54.The checkpoints and patrols are funded through the state Department of Transportation and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).Mortorists are reminded to dial 9-1-1 if they suspect a drunk driver.
