Thomas Dougher, son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Dougher, North Eleventh Street, Lehighton, has been selected by District 741 of Rotary International as a member of the Youth Exchange Program for 1971. Thomas was selected during a dinner meeting of all candidates held at the Treadway Motor Lodge in Wilkes-Barre. Dougher, 17, said Australia was his first preference. His alternate choices were Switzerland and Brazil. After returning from Australia, Thomas plans to attend the University of Pennsylvania and major in civil engineering.
