James Zanders of Lehighton donates a book of memories to Weissport Council. The title of the book is, "New Gnaden Huetten." Zanders said that a friend, Thomas Schindler of Lehighton had the book and was planning to sell it, when Zanders asked to have the book donated to Weissport. Council members were familiar with much of the material, but even they did not remember some of the information in the book. The book also contained information when the Franklin Well was dedicated in 1954.
