State police at Schuylkill Haven are investigating an incident reported to them early Saturday morning, March 29.

Troopers said Regis Lucas, 49, of Muncy, Lycoming County, was operating a 2007 FedEx tractor with trailer northbound on SR61, between Schuylkill Haven and Pottsville, about 3:45 a.m. when a Jeep Grand Cherokee began to be driven erratically and cut him off. As he neared the Mount Carbon jughandle the driver of the Jeep threw an unknown object at the passenger side of the trailer.Lucas later observed a three inch gash on the passenger side of the trailer. The suspect vehicle had silver fenders and was a model year between 1993-1995.
