State police at Schuylkill Haven reported on two crashes probed by troopers on Schuylkill County roadways over the past weekend.

A crash occurred about 12:45 p.m. on Friday, March 29, along E. Wiconisco Street in Porter Township. Troopers said Darin J. Morgan, 28, of Williamstown, was driving a 2005 Honda 450R all terrain vehicle (ATV), westbound in a group of ATV riders, while Clarence L. Gibson, 65, of Tower City, was driving a 2010 Ford F150 truck eastbound.Morgan attempted to pass other ATV riders and traveled into the path of Gibson. Morgan attempted to avoid a collision but could not and struck the Ford.Morgan was injured and taken to the Schuylkill Medical Center-E. Norwegian St., Pottsville. Gibson was not injured.Troopers cited Morgan for driving on the right side of the road.A two-vehicle crash occurred about 10:06 a.m. on Saturday, March 30, along SR813 in Cressona. Troopers said Ora S. Ebling, 86, of Cressona, was turning left from Front Street, onto 183 and was unable to control her steering when her purse became entrangled. Her 2001 Toyota Camry continued left across the double yellow line and struck a 2005 Buick Lacrosse driven by Oliver N. Laubenstine, 79, of Schuylkill Haven.Both drivers sustained minor injuries and were treated at the scene.
