Navy Club of Carbon Co. installs new officers

During their March monthly meeting, the Navy Club of Carbon County, Ship 260 held election of officers for 2013. From left, Stanley Jaroszewski, senior executive officer; David Spence, chaplain and master at arms; Scott Reinhart, commander; Robert Siesputowski, junior executive officer; and John Mauro, paymaster. The officers were sworn in by Past National Commandant William Flail, who also officiated the change of command ceremony. The Carbon County Navy Club, Ship 260 is open to all veterans of the U.S. Navy, Marine Corps, Coast Guard and Merchant Marines. Meetings are held the last Monday of each month at 7 p.m. at the VFW 8008 hall in Nesquehoning. The club is active in the community, presenting a program entitled "Honoring Our Flag" to schools, Scouts and civic groups.
