A free community meal will be served from 4-6 p.m. Thursday, March 28, at St. John's Episcopal Church, 365 Lafayette Ave., Palmerton. The public is invited to enjoy a free meal and fellowship.

Historical societyThe Palmerton Area Historical Society will meet on Monday, April 8, in the Knight's Gallery of the Palmerton Area Library. The meeting will feature a continuation of the series of videos on the wives of U.S. presidents. The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. with a short business session, followed by the presentation. The public is invited to attend without cost or obligation.Holy Trinity LutheranHoly Trinity Lutheran Church, 502 Lafayette Ave., Palmerton, will hold Easter services with Holy Communion on Sunday, March 31, at 8 and 10:45 a.m. During the service, the Resurrection Ringers will sing along with the Junior Choir. The adult choir will present an anthem.Easter services will be held at the Village at sunrise.Concourse ClubThe Palmerton Concourse club will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 4, at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 502 Lafayette Ave., Palmerton. The topic for the evening will be The Basics of Landscaping with Craig Brophy of Mahoning Mountain Vineyards & Landscaping. The meeting is open to the public.Heritage CenterThe Feature Room at the Palmerton Heritage Center, 410 Delaware Ave., will next be displaying antique (over 50 years old) hats. Anyone with such hats is invited to lend them to the display, with background information. Although it is expected that most of those available will be women's hats, men's and children's hats are equally welcome.The Heritage Center is open various hours Wednesday through Saturday each week.
