A son, Owen David Steigerwalt, was born at 5:54 a.m. on Jan. 1, 2013 at Lehigh Valley Hospital to Diana and Lester David Steigerwalt Jr. of Palmerton.

He weighed 8 pounds, 14 ounces and measured 23 inches long.The new baby was welcomed home by an older sister, Addison Lynn Steigerwalt, who is 2 years old.Maternal grandparents are Gordana and Muhamed Balanca of Queens, N.Y.Paternal grandparents are Kim and Lester Steigerwalt Sr., of Aquashicola.
