Rush Township police reported that Walter Eidle, 66, of Lansford, was injured Tuesday after losing control and crashing his van along Tuscarora Park Road. Eidle was taken to St. Luke's Hospital Miner's Campus, Coaldale, by Tamaqua ambulance. Responding were Rush Township Fire Police, Hometown Fire Company and Tamaqua Rescue. The road was closed for the duration.
