Danielle Gertrude Thomas of Allentown is facing charges of driving under the influence of alcohol by state police at the Fogelsville barracks.

Police said she was stopped on March 16 after the South Whitehall Police Department was investigating an accident at the intersection of routes 222 and 29 in the township. Police said Thomas was operating a vehicle northbound at the time of the crash and was stopped on the east shoulder.Police said she showed signs of intoxication and was transported to the Lehigh County Booking Center for a blood test.
