DUI arrests

State police at Fern Ridge reported on two driving under the influence (DUI) arrests.

On Feb. 14 troopers stopped Jeremy Klinger, 25, of Berwick, along Interstate 80 in Tobyhanna Township, Monroe County, after observing him driving erratically. He was found to be under the influence and transported to the county DUI center for a blood test. The DUI charge is pending the test results.On March 10 about 7:42 p.m. troopers stopped Courtenay B. Lectaes, 47, of Chandler, Ariz., along SR903, in the area of the turnpike, in Penn Forest Township, Carbon County, for a vehicle code violation. He was found to be under the influence and was placed under arrest for DUI. The charge is pending blood test results, troopers said.
