A Slatington driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence (DUI) of a controlled substance following an incident that occurred about 10:11 p.m. on Tuesday, March 12, along Interstate 78 in Salisbury Township.

State police at Fogelsville said Andrew Steven Gross, 23, was stopped for a traffic violation. He was found to be under the influence and was placed under arrest for suspicion of DUI.Troopers said the DUI charge is pending blood test results.
