A McAdoo woman has been cited as a result of a traffic stop in the borough on Jan. 19.

Charlene Wofford, 34, of 76 S. Kennedy Dr., was operating a blue Hyundai Sonata when she was stopped for a traffic violation in the area of Sherman Street.Patrolman William Curilla noted a strong odor of alcohol on her breath while in the process of obtaining her license and registration. She was given, and failed three field sobriety tests. A portable breath test registered a blood-alcohol content of .089 percent. Wofford refused to submit to blood tests.She was cited for driving under the influence (DUI) of alcohol, and failure to use the required turn signal.
