Revocations

Mark A. Yacovelli, 43, Mahanoy City, had his parole revoked by Judge John E. Domalakes and he was re-sentenced on a charge of possession of drugs to serve six to 12 months in the county prison and his 37 days of liberty is disallowed which extends his maximum date for release from prison to April 21, 2013. He had pleaded guilty last June to possession of drugs and after serving 170 days in prison was released on parole.President Judge William E. Baldwin, after hearings, ruled on the following:William Perry Sims, 31, Reading, had his parole revoked and his 160 days of libery disallowed and added to his maximum date for release and he was given credit for serving 38 days. Sims had pleaded guilty on Feb. 22, 2012, to a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia when stopped by Minersville Patrolman Richard C. Clink, on the Seltzer Road in Norwegian Township.Brooke Elizabeth Evitts, 24, Pottsville, had her probation revoked and she was re-sentenced to serve six to 12 months in the county prison with credit for serving 107 days. Her parole is conditioned upon being accepted in a drug and alcohol rehabilitation inpatient facility. Evitts pleaded guilty on Feb. 22, 2012, to charges of theft and credit card fraud.Nicholas Baney, 22, Girardville, had his parole revoked and his 337 days of libery disallowed and he was remanded to prison to serve out his sentence with credit for serving 26 days. The court said it would not consider an application for parole for three months unless it is a drug and alcohol rehabilitative inpatient treatment program. Baney pleaded guilty on Aug. 17, 2011, to charges of unauthorized use of a pickup truck.Judge Cyrus Palmer Dolbin held hearings on the following:Phillip James Gibble, Girardville, had his parole revoked and his 33 days of liberty disallowed and added to extend his maximum sentence to Aug. 17, 2012. He pleaded guilty to possession of drug paraphernalia last Sept. 26 and after spending 26 days in prison was released on parole.Robert Lee Tabourn, 21, Shenandoah, had his parole revoked and he was re-sentenced to serve one to two years in a state correctional facility and his 143 days of liberty disallowed. He had pleaded guilty to charges of possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug parapahernalia.
