Salem-St. Paul's Lutheran Church's Pastor's Class for new members meets Sundays in April, from 9-10 a.m. Call the church office to register. New members will join Sunday, April 28.First Communion Class for children age 5 and older and a parent is 9-11 a.m. Saturday, March 23. Please call the church office to register.The Lenten Wednesday service will be on March 13. Volunteers are needed to help make soup and desserts for the Lenten soup supper. Sign up sheet is posted on the bulletin board by the office.Safe Haven Pet RescueSafe Haven Pet Rescue will have a volunteer meeting on Tuesday, March 19, at 6:30 p.m. at Cherry's Family Restaurant, Route 209 near Route 534, Kresgeville.Safe Haven is a small group of dedicated animal advocates who rescue dogs from high kill and overcrowded shelters and find them loving homes.All dogs are in foster care until their permanent homes are found. Volunteers are needed for adoption days, dog transport to veterinary and grooming appointments, fundraising, clerical help, home visits and more.
