A Schuylkill County driver was involved in a one-vehicle crash Monday on a snow and ice-covered county road.

State police at Frackville said Nathan K. Fisher, 25, of New Ringgold, was driving a 2008 Ford Escape along SR443 in East Brunswick Township, about 4:15 p.m. when he lost control while attempting to negotiate a left curve. The Ford slid off the road and collided with several large boulders in a ditch.The vehicle then careened back across both lanes of travel and went onto the berm on the south side and collided into a tree where it came to rest.Fisher was not injured. Troopers said he was charged with driving too fast for conditions and for having a bald right front tire on the vehicle.
