A Tamaqua man was among six defendants who were brought before the Schuylkill County court for hearings on bench warrants which were disposed as follows:

Richard H. Melicharek, 51, of 319 N. Columbia St., had his bench warrant dissolved by Judge Cyrus Palmer Dolbin and bail set at $5,000 percentage cash in the aggregate.A bench warrant was issued last Nov. 5 when he failed to appear for a pre-trial conference in court last Oct. 12. Meicharek has two cases pending against him. He was charged by West Penn Township Patrolman Jason A. Lorah, on Sept. 2, 2011, with passing two bad checks and on March 20, 2012, with theft by deception and passing six bad checks.Jason John Pryce, 27, Ashland, had his bench warrant dissolved by Judge Charles M. Miller and bail set at $1,000 percentage cash with the stipulation he reside at 215 Germanville Road, Ashland, shall not possess or consume alcohol beverages, controlled substance or drug paraphernalia, and shall not travel outside of Pennsylvania without written permission from the court.The bench warrant was issued last Oct. 7 when failed to appear at a preliminary hearing before a magisterial district judge. He faces a charge of theft by deception filed by Trooper Michael Breznik last July.Jorge L. Tejada-Hernandez, 24, Minersville, had his bench warrant dissolved by Judge John E. Domalakes and bail set at $5,000 percentage cash with stipulations that he reside at 248 Sunbury St., Minersville, and must not relocate without prior permission from court with a verification of address signed by the owner or tenant giving him permission to reside at this address, must not possess or consume alcohol or illegal substances, and must attend all future court proceedings.A bench warrant was issued last Dec. 31 when he failed to comply with a court order for a criminal evaluation. He faces a charge of driving under the influence (DUI) of alcohol cited by Minersville Patrolman Jason A. Klouser.Jonathan R. Dombrowski, 24, Shenandoah, had her bench warrant dissolved by Domalakes and bail set at $5,000 percentage cash with the stipulation he reside at 241 S. Fourth St., Apt. 4 , Shamokin, and must not relocate without prior permission from court, must remain employed and pay a $50 fee to the district attorney for the bench warrant which was issued last Dec. 20, when he failed to appear in court for a hearing. Dombrowski faces a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia brought by Mahanoy City Cpl. Michael Dissinger, last March 24.Anthony Andrew Bierman, 30, Pottsville, had his bench warrant dissolved by Domalakes and bail set at $5,000 unsecured with the stipulation he must reside at 515 S. Centre St., Pottsville, and must not relocate without prior court permission, must not possess nor consume alcohol or illegal substances, and must attend all future court proceedings.A bench warrant was issued last Jan. 7 when he failed to appear at a preliminary hearing before a district judge. He faces prosecution for charges of possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia brought by Pottsville Patrolman Joseph R. Welsh, last Sept. 11.Deborah Ann Morse, 44, Souderton, formerly of Schuylkill Haven, had her ben warrant dissolved by Domalakes and bail set at $500 straight cash with the conditions she reside at 55 Andorra Glen Court, Suite 12, Lafayette Hill, with verification of address signed by the owner or tenant giving her permission to reside there and she must not relocate without prior permission from the court; and pay a $50 bench warrant fee.Morse faces prosecution for two counts of harassment of a Schuylkill Haven woman with text messages over a cell phone. The charges were filed by Patrolman William, Horn, last July 24. A bench warrant was issued last Nov. 20 for her arrest when she failed to appear for a preliminary hearing at a district judge's office.
