In an effort to gain public input in the development and improvement of the boroughs within its circle, the Pantehr Valley Chamber of Commerce has formed a Community Promotion Committee. The chairman, Bud Neavil of Hauto, Nesquehoning R. 1, will attempt to develop a program to increase individual citizen interest and suggestions for programs and promotions to create public interest and involvement in area development. Also during the meeting, election of officers was held. Ronald Tirpak was named president.
