Lady Panthers qualify for district playoffs

The Panther Valley girls qualified for the District 11 playoffs with a win over Weatherly on Saturday.

GIRLS BASKETBALLPanther Vy.-WeatherlyThe Lady Panthers jumped out to a 17-point lead by halftime and breezed to a 69-29 win over the Lady Wreckers.The win was PV's 11th of the season and qualified them for districts for the first time since 2003.Abbey Whildin finished with 27 pointsand Madison Blasko added 22, including a career high six three-pointers. Sam Zlock addied 10.Kelly Parker led Weatherly (5-11) with 10 points.Weatherly did earn a split with a 50-24 win in the JV game.
