Two persons were arrested early in Sunday, Jan. 20, attempting to steal items from a Schuylkill County business.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said about 12:01 a.m. Benjamin Neidlinger, 20, of Cumbola, and Mattie Santangelo, 19, of Mount Carmel, arrived at Bill's Produce, located at 2012 Long Run Rd., in North Manheim Township, in a 1997 Land Rover Discovery sports utility vehicle.On scene they began to load five tractor trailer rims and two metal poles into the vehicle when confronted by the owner, who called troopers. The two were going to sell the items for scrap.Both were arrested and charges filed, troopers said.
