The Tamaqua Community Art Center is hosting an Art Gallery Show and Meet & Greet reception with local artist Sharon Miller-Readinger, a Tamaqua native, this Thursday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Center. Her display will showcase over 20 pieces of artwork of from her collection using a variety of mediums and subjects including watercolor, oil, colored pencil and pastel. Miller-Readinger has won an honorable mention ribbon in the Allied Artists 47th Juried Art Show and also featured in the Schuylkill Living Magazine. In addition, her art work was on display in the Yocumm Gallery and Cloud Nine Café in Wyomissing, the Lazy Dog in Minersville, RACC and others. This will be her first private showing in her home town of Tamaqua.
