Diane Danielson, director of the Palmerton Area Library, holds two recent paintings by local artist Mary Kocher that will be available at the annual Art Show and Lunch to benefit the library. The event will take place from noon until 3 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 27 at the library, 402 Delaware Ave, and is sponsored by the Friends of the Library. For lunch there is soup, salad, sandwiches, desserts, coffee and drinks. Artwork is for sale and 20 percent of each sale will go to the library. They are accepting any kind of artwork (paintings, sculptures, pottery, jewelry, etc.), but everything must be submitted by Thursday, Jan. 24. For tickets or for more information, call (610) 826-3424.
