Rock-Eagle Acevedo, 27, of Jim Thorpe, has been charged with two counts of DUI and one count of minimum speed restrictions by Mahoning Township police.

According to police, Acevedo was stopped at 12:20 a.m. on Sept. 29 near Jamestown Drive and Spring Hill Road in the township for a traffic violation.Police said results of a blood test showed a BAC (blood alcohol content) of .100 percent, which is above the .08 percent legal alcohol limit in Pennsylvania.A preliminary hearing for Acevedo is scheduled for 1 p.m. on Feb. 20 before District Judge Edward Lewis of Jim Thorpe.
