State police at Lehighton reported investigating a one-vehicle crash about 3:35 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 13, along Maury Road in Penn Forest Township, Carbon County.

Troopers said Erika L. Moyer, 44, of Summit Hill, was driving a 2012 Toyota Corolla northbound, just south of SR903, and attempting to negotiate a left curve and lost control. Moyer over-compensated for the curve with the car spinning counter-clockwise. The car went onto the berm and struck a utility pole.The police report indicates that Moyer was injured with Lake Harmony ambulance on scene. The report also indicates Moyer was not taken to any hospital.Troopers cited Moyer for driving a vehicle at an (un) safe speed.
