State police at Fogelsville reported invesetigating a one-vehicle crash about 8:20 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 13, at the intersection of Weidasville and Highland roads, in Lowhill Township.

Troopers said Christa L. Eck, 38, of New Tripoli, was driving a 2002 Toyota Echo northbound on Weidasville Road. At the intersection with Highland Road she attempted to turn right onto Highland but continued straight, went off the road and struck a tree with the front end.Eck and passengers Jeremy M. Eck, 10, New Tripoli, and Nicholas R. Werley, 10, of Orefield, were all not injured. The vehicle had to be towed from the scene.Eck was cited for driving a vehicle at an (un) safe speed, troopers said.
