State police at Frackville investigated a hit-and-run accident that occurred about 8:45 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 11, along Interstate 81 in Cass Township, Schuylkill County.

Troopers said Debra J. Aranmolate, 50, of Laurel, Md., was driving a 2012 Toyota Camry northbound in the right lane when a tractor with trailer started to pass her vehicle. While passing the trailer veered into the right lane and struck the Camry. After impact the rig driver fled the scene. Damage to the Camry consisted of the driver's side mirror being knocked off, front bumper dislodged and damage to the driver's side front fender.Aranmolate and her passenger, Gilbert Francis, 64, of New Carrollton, Md., were not injured.
