A Carbon County driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence (DUI).

State police at Lehighton said Brian Kenny, 33, of Lehighton, was stopped about 10:35 p.m. on Jan. 8 at Walnut and South sts., in Jim Thorpe, for several traffic violations. He was found to be under the influence and placed under arrest for suspicion of DUI.He was transported to the Lehighton hospital for a blood test. The DUI charge is pending the test results.
