Question:We are considered a leader in the world, one of the large industrialized and smartest nations in the world - a real leader.Then how come we have more murders?How come we let civilians have weapons of mass destruction?You do know that assault weapons and large ammo clips lead to mass destruction, don't you?I say that they aren't needed to hunt - only to kill people.I say take a page from Japan. Don't give guns like this to civiliansPass a law in six months that these weapons must be turned in.Anyone after that who is caught with one will have it taken away - pay a large fin and spend six months in jail.The killing has to stop.I remain,Robert (Ski) Siesputawski,Summit Hill
