A Monroe County man has been cited for harassment following an incident that occurred about 5 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 7, at 221 Evergreen Court, in Ross Township.

State police at Lehighton said Connor Purington, 20, of Saylorsburg, was cited for allegedly striking a 50-year-old male in the right eye. Troopers said Purington was lodged in the county prison in Snydersville after being cited.
