State police at the Lehighton barracks were summoned to investigate the theft of a vehicle from a residence in Polk Township, Monroe County.

Police said the incident happened between 11 p.m. Jan. 5 and 7 a.m. Jan 6 at 120 Owl Lane, Kunkletown.Police said it is alleged Raymond J. Bender Jr., no address listed, removed a vehicle from the residence of Sandra marie Schoch without authorization. The vehicle was located at the residence of the suspect and returned to the owner.Police did not say whether or not charges will be filed in the case.
