Cleo Beers, R. D., Lehighton, was elected president of the Carbon County Potato Growers Association. Beers is the owner of the Cle-Rene Farm, and is well known locally. He will be assisted by Elwood Christman, vice president; Norman Strohl, secretary-treasurer; Harry Graver, Lee Dreisbach, and Marvin Mertz, directors.
