Carbon County Economic Development Corporation and Carbon County Chamber of Commerce is the recipient of a $5,000 grant from PPL.

PPL has been a longtime supporter of economic development and the Chamber.Paul Canevari of PPL sits on both boards. He said that PPL has been a valued contributor to the success of each organization."As these two organizations continue to work more closely together to provide support and programs to the businesses of Carbon County, PPL will also continue to provide guidance and support to assist them in their mission," said Canevari."We continue to be dedicated to the businesses of Carbon County and partner with these two groups."The grants received will support the development of a business survey, which will give both organizations critical insights into the needs of Carbon County businesses."PPL continues to see the vision of working together to create a strong business climate in Carbon County," said Dawn Ferrante, director of CCEDC and chairman of the Carbon County Chamber."We are thankful and appreciate of all they do for us."
