Yanovich won 41 matches a year ago, picking up bronze medals at the District 11 and Northeast Regional tournaments. Ogazalek is 13-4 at 113 this season. Kemmerer is 5-2 at 113.120 - 1. Colin Mashack, Tamaqua, Jr. (15-0); 2. Josh Evans, Palmerton, Jr. (16-2); 3. Sean Bianco, Pleasant Valley, Sr. (5-0).Honorable Mention - Ali Capibianco, Jim Thorpe, Fr. (9-2); Matt Schmall, Northern Lehigh, Fr. (6-4); Anthony McCue, Pleasant Valley, Fr. (5-2).Notes - Mashack was a PIAA State Qualifier a year ago at 106 and placed sixth. Evans went 31-9 last season, took silver at districts and qualified for states. Evans was also 5-0 at the Anthracite Duals over the weekend. One of Capibianco's losses was to Pennridge's Ben Ross, who is 12-1 this season. Bianco was a PIAA State Qualifier a year ago and finished last season with a 42-4 record, but has wrestled sparingly this season. It bares watching if McCue will continue to wrestle at 120 in place of Bianco.126 - 1. James Felipa, Pleasant Valley, Sr. (8-4); 2. Kyle Morales, Jim Thorpe, Jr. (12-4); 3. Damien Fink, Palmerton, Fr. (4-3).Notes - Felipa went 4-0 at the Parkland Duals this past weekend, but was 3-1 at 126. Felipa also had a 32-11 record a season ago. Fink is 4-0 at 126.132 - 1. Dillon Mastington, Palmerton, Sr. (11-2); 2. Zach Glassic, Panther Valley, So. (11-9); 3. Nick Pale, Jim Thorpe, Sr. (10-8).Notes - Mastington is a former 20 bout winner and went 4-1 at the Anthracite Duals this past Saturday. Pale is 6-4 this season at 132.138 - 1. Brian Ohl, Jim Thorpe, Sr. (17-3); 2. Joell Toledo, Pleasant Valley, Sr. (9-2); 3. Joe Bubble, Palmerton, Sr. (10-4).Honorable Mention - Nathan Farber, Northern Lehigh, So. (6-4).Notes - All three have been primarily wrestling at 145 over the last month, but all three have also spent time at 152. Ohl is 8-2 at 145, Toledo is 6-2 at 145 and Bubble is 4-1 at 145. These rankings could fluctuate depending on how much time is spent consistently wrestling at 145. Ohl won 24 bouts a season ago.152 - 1. Ty Herzog, Northern Lehigh, Sr. (8-4).Notes - Herzog was a PIAA State Qualifier at 145 a year ago, finishing the season with a 31-10 record.160 - 1. Zach Graver, Palmerton, So. (16-2); 2. Connor Frey, Lehighton, Fr. (12-6); 3. Mitchell Evans, Northwestern Lehigh, Sr. (10-6).Honorable Mention - Jalil Aldridge, Pleasant Valley, Sr. (7-5).Notes - One of Graver's losses this season came to Travis Edwards of Port Jervis HS in New York. Edwards has a 12-0 record this season. Frey went 3-1 at the Anthracite Duals over the weekend.170 - 1. Michael Ortiz, Northwestern Lehigh, Sr. (14-3); 2. Dylan Moyer, Panther Valley, Fr. (13-10); 3. Marcus Hardiman, Northern Lehigh, Sr. (7-4).Honorable Mention - Nolan Zeigler, Tamaqua, Sr. (8-4).Notes - Ortiz battled through injuries last year that ultimately cut his season short at regionals. He still managed to go 25-6 and win the District 2A title.182 - 1. Cody Bowman, Northern Lehigh, Sr. (8-4); 2. Matt Buss, Panther Valley, So. (12-7); 3. Jake Christman, Palmerton, Sr. (3-1).Honorable Mention - Adam Toth, Tamaqua, Jr. (5-4).Notes - Bowman is 4-1 in his last five matches. Buss went 4-1 on Saturday at the Anthracite Duals.195 - 1. Ryan Ruberto, Jim Thorpe, Sr. (12-4).Honorable Mention - Luke Matsago, Tamaqua, Sr. (13-8).Notes - Shubeck has won 13 matches in a row and only two of his wins this season have come via forfeit.
