Kaysi McLaughlin, daughter of Bill and Susie Moyer of Tamaqua, was named to the dean's list at Alvernia University for the fall 2012 semester with a 3.89 GPA.

A freshman, McLaughlin is working towards a dual major in elementary and special education.She is a 2012 graduate of Marian Catholic High School.
