McAdoo Police are searching for a large sport utility vehicle that caused major damage to a porch in the borough on Dec. 20.

Officers were dispatched to 344 W. Sherman St. at 8:55 p.m. for a hit-and-run incident. On scene, they spoke with the resident, who noted that a vehicle had struck his porch. Tire tracks were visible in the snow, showing a vehicle had jumped the curb, traveled the sidewalk and struck the right side of the porch. Damage to the railing, posts and oil fill pipe were clearly visible.A witness described the vehicle as a large, dark color SUV, possibly a Suburban.Anyone with information concerning the incident is asked to call police at 570-929-2590. The suspect vehicle will have front end damage.
