Marian, Tamaqua and Jim Thorpe pulled off Schuylkill League volleyball victories on Tuesday night.

GIRLS VOLLEYBALLMarian-Williams Vy.Marian tuned up for Thursday's showdown with Pottsville Nativity by crushing Williams Valley, 25-12, 25-5, 25-12, in a Schuylkill League match.Setter Abby O'Donnell had a big match for the Fillies (8-1) with 35 assists and eight aces. Grace Boyle led the way at the net with 17 kills. Also playing well for Marian were, Abigail Stankiwietz (six kills); Mauren Klope (five kills, four digs); Emily Pilla (four kills, three aces); Lauren Nietz (four aces) and Ashton Galasso (five digs).Sch.
