Ghost stories

The Heritage Center in Summit Hill will concluding its lecture series at 7 o'clock this evening with its annual "Summit Hill Ghost Stories," as told by historian and paranormal investigator David Wargo, with special dramatic readings by fellow presenter Ken Forrest.

The lecture features tales Wargo researched when writing material for the original ghost tours conducted for several years by the Summit Hill Historical Society.Wargo is currently rewriting and expanding his book "Mysteries on the Mountain" which details these stories and others.The second lecture will be on "The Dangers of Paranormal Phenomenon" by Michelle Gallagher and will start around 8:15 p.m.Gallagher is a Universal Minister, speaker, author and intuitive medium. This is her third appearance at the center. She will speak on her experiences and the dangers of the current pop craze of casual ghost hunting and its ramifications.She works with the Blue Mountain Paranormal Society as a spiritual adviser and mentor and has written two books. Her latest is "The Dangers of Paranormal Phenomenon."Both lectures are free. For more information call 570-657-0792.
