The Grand Jury yesterday returned two true bills, ignoring three others, in completing its first day of deliberation on bills of indictment prepared by District Attorney Carl Niehoff.

Jury foreman Andrew J. Dobosh, presented the report to Judge James C. McCready at 4:30 p.m.

A true bill was found in the case of the Commonwealth versus Charlette F. Walsh, Lehighton, charged with having permitted a building, the Arlington Hotel, to be used for the purposes of prostitution and assignation.

Interest in this case mounted yesterday afternoon, when Anna Witherich, Nesquehoning, a former East Mauch Chunk resident, was arrested on a charge of attempting to procure suboration of perjury. Two Lehighton men, called as witnesses in the Walsh case, produced information revealing that Mrs. Witherich attempted to influence them before making their appearance before the Grand Jury.
