Among the 100 pets vaccinated against rabies at the Beaver Run Rod and Gun Club Spring Rabies Vaccination Clinic on Sunday were the pets of Alicia Mieczkowski. She brought her sheltie, Layla; and beagle, Toby, right. Administering the vaccinations was Dr. Betsy Squires of Forest Inn Animal Hospital, who was the veterinarian in charge. Approximately 100 animals were vaccinated against rabies during the clinic. Proceeds from the event benefited the Adopt a Boxer Rescue. Beaver Run Rod and Gun Club started the clinic because of the many members who hunt and have dogs that are in the wild and exposed to the dangers of rabies. The club hosts two rabies vaccination clinics each year
