A Grier City man has been charged in connection with a domestic incident in Rush Township on Thursday, Feb. 28.

Police were dispatched to 222 Grier Ave. at 6:15 a.m. and spoke with the female victim. She told police she had been assaulted by Brett P. McGuire, 41, who had left the scene before police arrived.McGuire later turned himself in to police and was charged with simple assault, terroristic threats, and harassment.He was arraigned before District Judge Steven Bayer, of Tamaqua, and released on bail.
